Winterfest Reno 2017
The largest and most popular of local holiday traditions, Winterfest Reno 2017, begins tonight at 5 pm. Santa’s elves have been hard at work transforming Greater Nevada Field into a winter wonderland. Now, you get to reap the rewards. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in December, Winterfest Reno 2017 offers holiday fun that the entire family can enjoy together.
Winterfest Holiday Express Train Rides
Hop aboard the Holiday Express for a train ride you won’t soon forget. Help deliver the naughty and nice list to Santa while traveling through a magical forest filled with fir trees, gingerbread houses, and wandering toys. Listen as the conductor tells stories of Santa and his helpers getting ready for Christmas. At the end of this journey, you’ll get to meet the jolly old elf himself.
Winterfest Santa’s Village
Yes, the Holiday Express drops you off right at Santa’s Village. Here, he’ll be happy to listen to you rattle off every item on your Christmas wish list. Then, pose for a picture. Get in early and you can nab yourself a lovely family photo for your Christmas card this year. Receive your photographs on the spot thanks to on-site printing available. Photo packages begin at just $15.
Winterfest Ice Skating
Like to ice skate? Visit the large outdoor skating rink at Winterfest Reno 2017. Sessions run just over two hours each. Adults and teens pay $8 per session. Kids (ages 3-12) and seniors (55+) pay just $6 each. Kids under three are free. Bring your own skates from home or rent a pair for $4 each. Group discounts are available for parties of 20 or more. Plan on visiting often? Grab a 10-visit punch pass. They cost $60 per adult and $40 per kid/senior. If you fill up your punch pass by the end of the month, you’ll have saved $2 per visit.
Winterfest Christmas Tree Lot
Just outside Greater Nevada Field, they’ve set up a tree lot. Before you leave Winterfest for the night, pick up a tree for your home. All trees are fresh cut from local tree farms. So, you’ll be supporting our local economy by buying your Christmas tree here. The lot remains open during Winterfest Reno 2017 hours.
